“ I visited Top Taste Jamaican Restaurant on my way to Key West and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of the food. The jerk chicken was tender and flavorful, the rice and peas were cooked to perfection, and the plantains were sweet and crispy. The portions were huge and the prices were very reasonable. The staff was friendly and attentive, and they made me feel welcome with their Jamaican hospitality. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a taste of the Caribbean in Florida City. ”

“ Ok so it really looks sketchy outside but.... It's legit!! We got oxtail, curry chicken, jerk chicken, and some I can't remember how to spell it fish stew. LOVED the fish stew, it had some tomatoes and was really tasty!! Curry chicken was enjoyed, oxtails were tender and yum. We also got some interesting juices, the mango cherry was yummy! I think the best thing was the staff, the girl was so friendly and helpful and the dude was like HEY DAD to the guy at the grill area, they were so sweet, chill, and helpful! Try them out!!!! ”
“ I have shopped/ate with Top Taste many times. Pickup and delivery through DoorDash or Uber Eats. The food quality is always excellent. This one particular time, the madam who took my order, Raquel, had the utmost patience with me as we were having trouble on the apps ordering food. She worked diligently to try and fulfill my order over and beyond what was required or expected. We spent almost 40 minutes trying to find a solution, which we did eventually and it wouldn’t have happened without her. Her effort and show of care for “just another customer” was highly appreciated and I can’t thank her, and the staff that helped her carry out the task, but especially her for making this happen. She’s there Monday-Wednesday. Greatest customer service I’ve EVER received for a delivery order. 20/10 highly recommend! ”

If you're looking for a hole-in-the-wall Jamaican restaurant, this is your best bet! Keep in mind that the restaurant itself is fairly small; there is not a whole lot of seating. We both loved the food - it was drizzled in oxtail sauce and tasted AMAZING! Not to mention, the portion sizes were very generous! ”

“ Down here a wedding, and found this place right by my hotel. I knew I was in the right place right when I walked in. Everything smelled soooo good! Ordered just the Jerk Chicken so I don’t ruin my wedding dinner tonight. Just the right amount of spicy, and the wife and I fought over the last piece. The young lady at the register also recommended taking the ox tail gravy and putting it on my white rice. “Ummm, yes, please!” Throw in two spicy Jamaican patties, and mission accomplished.
